Breast cancer (BC) rose dramatically in the 1980s and 1990s, reaching epidemic proportions worldwide. Proposal of a national strategy for primary prevention of the present BC epidemic in the community. Objectives: to reduce the BC incidence, to eliminate the BC epidemic, and to test the potential for primary prevention.
In modern terms, to speak of geopolitics as a useful policy instrument can be a dangerous enterprise. Too often, skeptics tend to consider geopolitics simply policies based on rapid geographic and political expansion leading to a particular state’s domination in a perpetual balance-of-power contest.
Centuries of political, cultural and confessional foreign domination have left a heavy footprint on contemporary existence in the Balkans, and a plethora of both old and relatively recent contradictions and prejudices has proved very difficult to overcome.
